Good price for awd tranny?

Hey what is a good price for an awd tranny for a 1g? One that is newly rebuilt or in good working order.

Ha,
I'm not laughing at you, but your comment about it being in good working order is something that you have to take a chance with. I'm not saying that there aren't good trannies out there for sale, but you gotta be careful, specially with the"low mileage JDM non-sense". Have a core or yours rebuild at a local tranny shop. Manual trannies are not rocket science. The appropriate shops will have sources or jobbers that can supply them with cheap components, and for a small fee, sell them to you. Pull it out (if posssible), save some money, and aquire a new skill.
A Properly rebuild tranny will be better than any "Low mileage unit"
Race Transmission (such as tranies with double synchros)=Differrent story.

Around these parts(canada)...trannies with T-cases go for about 500CND(low mileage jdm)

Thanks for the reply I will probably just have mine rebuilt. I just can't really afford the down time. I was planning on buying a used one and haveing it rebuilt and then swapping it in my car on my day off. Or just finding one that is already rebuilt. My tranny grinds going into second now unless I shift really slow. It's really embarrasing.
