Good places to mount gauges, turbo timers, ect in car. looking for the most inovative

Just bought a Greddy turbo timer and lookin to install it under my headunit. How can i do that easiest? Do i need to make a special bracket or what? Also looking to get gauges when i say someone put one in the spot where the cig lighter is. I was wondering what are some other crazy innovative places to mount gauges and turbo timers ect. in the 2gen eclipse. Use pictures if you can! Thanks - Dave

i have the apexi turbo timer and i sintalled it right on my steering collum. as far as your's, you should be able to install it under your head unit. i used three strips of some heavy duty velcro, and its been solid for over 2 years now. check my profile for my TT install.

Even though mounting the TT underneath your radio would look cool, it gives thieves a perfect view of what you have to take. I mounted mine down under the driver’s side dash right next to the hood release. It’s still viewable and easy to get to if you’re in the car, but when you’re outside looking in – You can’t see it.

I mounted mine under the head unit along with the profec b. I could care less about a thief seeing it because the only time my car is out of the garage is when I'm driving it, I don't take it to the store or anything. Sometimes I take it too a friends house but I try not to leave it unsupervised. I have too much money and more importantly time invested in my car to have some low life steal my stuff.

as for the gauges, the cig lighter spot is always a nice place to have a gauge... Other than that, you can put up to 2 (3... really tight) gauges on your center heat vents... I've seen a panel made for that quite a few times. But these setups have all been done many times already.

Some people on here have molded cups on their dashes (not only screwed on) looks clean but it must be a PITA to do. I've also seen AFCs and AVC-Rs mounted on the headliner in front of the sunroof; just fiberglass yourself a cup or mount for it... Looks awesome IMO...

Some quick ones
AFC in sunshade
1 DIN 3 gauge set (defi makes one, other companies do this too for sure)
AFC/AVC-R in the hidden part under the armrest

And for the turbo timer (missed that one in your post) A very nice and stealthy place would be in your ashtray. Look in the interior galleries, you should see some.

im fabing up a polished aluminum piece for where my stck cd player used to be, i have the lexan piece cut right now as a template, but the final piece like i said will be made out of polished aluminum,

I have a greddy turbo timer and a profec a boost controller. I cut using a dremol tool 2 holes next to my cig lighter to fit them in under head unit. Then i cut out cig lighter and put in my autometer c2 egt guage. the whole set up looks sweet. It was very easy to use the dremol tool plus its better looking then just putting it on top of your steering wheel.
