Ok, where the dome light is on a 1g...what the hell are those lights for? theres little lettering on the front of the light that says A/T what is that for? and what are those three lights for becuase they never come on! just curious what the hell this thing is

If you are actually talking about the dome light, the one in the middle will come on when the doors are open, if you have it set to go on. You can set this to on all the time, on when doors open, or off all the time. If you have it set to on and it doesn't work, you probably have burned bulbs. The other two are map lights, which will turn on if you push them with your finger.

He has the A/T dome light, it comes with 2 or 3 idiot lights for trans temp and something else.

The owner's manual will tell you what they are, but I have to admit, they suprised me when we picked up my fiance's A/T 91 AWD.

i figured it was somethign to do with the trans obviously with A/T written on it, but why did they have to put it on the dome?! why not on the dash? so the light comes on when the trans gets to hot i'm assuming then?

Just hope NONE of your warning lights come one...except maybe the gaslight.
Check that manual.
