It's rubber, it will stretch.

It will be a little tight but the rod should fit in the rubber boot. The rubber should go up to the "land" or whatever you'd call the small diameter part of the rod.

It needs to be snug to seal out dirt.

It's like a butt. Doesn't look like it will fit but when you lube it up it fits like a glove after you ease it in :thumb:

If you would like some advice, look into getting speed bleeders not only for your clutch line but for your brakes as well. They make bleeding so much easier and turns it into a 1 person job. All a speed bleeder is is a regular bleed nipple with a 1 way check valve in it to prevent air from returning back into the line.
 
speed bleeders do make is so much easier to bleed lines i agree it is a very nice investment im looking into it as the tard who had the TSI i have now broke the dang bleeder nipple and got air in the line
