Going skimpy on E85

Well, it sounds like you know well enough of what you're doing.. I've never had to tune iun 120* ambient but i can imagine after some 103-105* nebraska days here and there and seeing what timing was being pulled by the J&S compared to a 70* evening

But hell... high timing numbers doesn't mean the most power as you know... MBT is all that's needed and once you can get there and make safe reliable powerthat's all you need :D

That J&S unit seems nice and the price is pretty good too. I may have to pick one up when I get back working.

ok cool, yeah I have a logger, wb and soon to be v3, but i got this safc for $50, I wanna at least have some fun till july. Ill grab a couple gallons and let ya know how it goes.

I'm not sure if your getting what everyone is telling you...
if you did the math for 650's on E85 you would realize you'll be basically at 0% adjustment so you have no extra fuel with e85 then you do now with gas and 450's...the only real way you going to gain any power over gas is to raise you boost level to somewhere where you would be at a lower timing because of the octane of pump 92 with with the limited fuel your not going to be able to do that...

Also if you go "Grab" a couple of gallons of E85 your going to have big headache since your not going to know you real % of Ethanol to Gas
Either do it right or not at all. Go run strait E85 on an Empty tank just make sure you Change your Fuel filter a few times...Also one other quick note I would Highly recommend that you get a 255 HP pump as a 190 is not going too be able to keep up down the road at all .
I have a few other things to add to this thread but it's late and it can wait...

Big 16g
