going big, need opinions

ive got a 95 tsi, im about to do a full motor build with a forced performance DSM86 turbo. I am having maperformance build the bottom end. Question is, should i go with a 2.4 or 2.0? I have all of the supporting mods already... i'm leaning toward the 2.4 due to better spool times as I think i may need that with a large turbo.

What are your plans for the car? If it'll be a drag car, go 2.0. If it'll be an autox/road race/street car, I'd go 2.4 for the extra torque.

I'd personally go 2.4 because I like the torque. Just keep in mind with a 2.4 you won't be able to rev it out nearly as far as on a 2.0.

anyone have a parts list/ guide? ive looked and cant find what im looking for. i know its a 6-bolt, so i'll need a new flywheel. My head has the cas under the cam gear, so i believe that I need a 1g head as well because the 6-bolt has no crank sensor. I'd like to get everything ordered and here so i dont have to wait for parts in the middle of the project. Thanks in advance.

Just go http://www.thedsmgraveyard.com/category_s/677.htm and look at there engine builds and just go from there. What ever they put in there high hp engines works! Good thing is that they include en estimate of hp you can get safely!

Kiggly Racing offeres a crank sensor wheel set up for the 6-bolt so you can use the 2g wiring to the crank sensor. If not, you can just rewire the engine harness to accept the 1g cas. You can find that wiring information on the Magnus Motorsports web site.
