What the topic says, i can say shift back and force from 1st to second very easily

getting into 3rd is a pain in the ass, but once im there the 3-4 is easy

same thing with 5th-reverse

Visual of my linkage doesn't show any problem. Yes i plan on disconnecting the one cable from the tranny and seeing if the shifter moves freely side to side. However, there is a half foot of snow on the car and the temp is below 0 right now (garage is full too), so i figured i would see if anyone else has been through this already

Already pissed off enough that i found out my second crank pulley is going out this week via it tossing the belt in the middle of a snowstorm, so i'm a little pissed

only thing to check really is the cables and try playing with the shifter arms on the tranny, also disconnecting the one cable and play with the shifter. i had the same problem when i was swapping my auto for the manual, but that's because i had the cables reversed, after i switched them it reached all gears perfectly.
