GMB Timing Belt Tensioner Quality

Does anyone know of any flaws or had any experience running a GMB timing belt tensioner on a first gen?

I just had the honor of my oem tensioner taking a crap on start up and bending all my valves.

I've never had one personally, but I can say that I prefer oem especially timing stuff.

I don't have a real problem with aftermarket bearings and pulleys for the timing belt, however I will never risk my engine by using an aftermarket hydraulic tensioner. It simply isn't worth the risk of re-crashing your valves over 30 bucks difference in price.

I buy mine at jnz tuning.

Grab a oem known and trusted don't skimp on that part.
