....yeah....
$400 for the MAF(T)? I found one for $75 but the translator is still $200
It still sounds like a great set up. I personally will go with both (safc and maf). I don't care about the arguments, its obviously clearing some things up. :thumb:

um no more like 400 for the dejon tool blow through uicp, the brand new translator, and a brand new maf(eveything brand new, I have the receipts from the guy who bought it and sold it to me) then you can get an afc for like 200.

Could someone please explain to me the reducers? If that saves me from buying a special UIP then I'm all for it. I see that there is a set of 4 bolt hole, square pieces that attatch to the MAF in order to hook it up? Could that be the reducers? Also I found the UIP for 179.99 on dejon tool....
Thanks!

the reducers are only if you are putting the gm mas in a blowthrough set up. BAsically they are just like a 2.5 tp 3" rubber connector that allows you to connect the 3" mas to your 2.5" uicp. I'm getting the dejon tool uicp and I iwll let you know how it looks and works. It should be here today(saturday) or mon or tues.

Oh hell yes! keep me posted! This is in my very near future!
So the reducers can be used instead of the UICP set up?

ya it still isnt here yet(godamned ups:mad:  ) anyway the couplers are used in conjunction with the uicp. This is waht you do, you take your ucip (must be an aftermarket metal one) cut out the appropriate length according to the length of the couplers plus the gm mas, then you attach the one coupler to the lower half. This brings the size of the pipe from 2.5" to 3", you then attach the mas to the coupler then attach the other coupler to the other side of the mas, this has the oposite effect and makes the 3" mas fit to the 2.5" uicp. They are just like regular couplers that you would use to attach the throttle body elgow the the one peice uicp but they flare out from 2.5" to 3".
