Gm Maft

Ok i know that it is covered for the 1g... I just installed the gm maf and translator and just curious if anyone could tell me a decent setting for the maft to get started. Aux 4 Base 2 Idle 0 Mid 0 WOT 4... But i still get fuel cut on top end.. Stock fuel except Walboro 255, W/ 3" full exhaust, T3/t4 Header w/ Turbonetics 60 trim and front mount.. Waiting on injectors and fpr..

Go to the manufacturer's webpage and download the manual, and RTFM. It tells you how to set it up for your injector size. If you're running stock 450s, the airflow reading lie will not significantly drop the airflow count... so if you're pushing 16+psi, you're still going to get fuel cut. Bigger injectors, the MAF-T will tell the ECU a reduced airflow count to compensate, with the side-effect of extending the amount of boost you can run before you cut.

Also, make sure the upper coupler and TB intake elbow don't have any leaks. Met someone who hit horrible fuel cut with a MAF-T setup, and he hadn't made sure his upper coupler was on securely and clamped... it popped off, and he had a HUGE boost leak.

And definitely get an AFPR ASAP. No matter what people tell you, a Walbro 255 WILL overrun the stock 2G FPR. I've yet to talk to ANYONE who is running on the stock FPR with a 255 and making claims to the contrary who has actually checked their fuel pressure... just figure that since the car runs, it must not be overrunning the FPR.
