Question last season i ran a 11.60 at the track and now in the prosess of rebuilding me car again and this time im using a 30r with a fully built motor and i was wondering it said in the other threads that the gm maft can only handle up to 450 hp my goal is to dip my toes into the tens im not sure what type i should use with aem.

Well if you're options are a GM Maf or a 2g Maf, I would suggest the GM because it's supposed to handle more air flow (hp) than the 2g.

I would go with the gm maft setup just because it is suppose to flow more than the 2g and also because it is closer to the throttle body giving you a more accurate reading.

I've been thinking of the samething on my 1G, which came with a 2G mas on it when i bought it. But now the car is going to be equipt with 1200cc injectors, FP hta88 turbosetup, tuning on dsmlink.

Go GM sensor you'll love it in blow through ESPECIALLY when intercooler pipes start to pop off...treats it as if nothing happened and the car runs like N/A.

Also I would advice you to replicate my setup. LS1 GM MAF with A Gen II MAFT TRANSLATOR and an eprom ecu with settings set to you're fuel setup
