GM 1 Wire Universal Mount CS130 alternator FIT A 2G?

ive read that these fit 1g's but couldnt find anything on 2g's

Why not just get a saturn alternator from the same place and get the one wire mod done from them. They fit 2g's with little modification

I just put the Saturn alt on , took some work but works nice, 25.00 for a used unit!

the 160 amp universal is $150

the 160 amp sc/sl with se regulator is $172

also i havent checked yet but the gm one looks more like a stock 2g alt. in terms of the bolt pattern. so its possible that it could bolt right up without any grinding.

Only reason I suggested saturn alt is because when I was looking for an alternative it was all I found info on. If that other on fits with less or no modification thats awesome...and you found a better alternative to saturn alts

well it does fit with no modification to the block or front case
depending on which way you mount it you will have to grind the bolt holes
so it lines up with the upper bracket.
