I found som gauges on ebay called GlowShift. Has anyone used these or should i stay away from them? I have a friend with civic hatch that just bought some and he likes them. Just wondering if i shouldnt waste my money and get some better gauges.

i guess startiing out then for what they cost they would be ok and later upgrade to better gauges. Ive seen them at night and they are real clear and look good, but how do they look in the day?

i have these in my car they look ok but they are supposed to be 7 colors but they will only sit on one color depending on how cold it is?!. and my boost guage goes from 11psi in 1st then mybe up to 13psi in second and then in third it goes up to 15 and it can top out at like up to 17 or 18 psi. can anyone help with that tell me what on earth is going on

thats the same gauge I got... mine apparently isnt calibrated correctly since it sits at 30 vacuum.

So now I gotta spend more money and get one that works.

IMO, I dont think you should buy that gauge. If you're going to go that cheap. Just go to Pepboys and pick up the sunpro gauge. at least they work and you can return them if they dont..

yeah as long as they are clear and accurate, then they are worth it. A gauge is a gauge if it is accurate then get which one you want. If you find a lot of people are saying that they are not calibrated correctly then they are not going to do you much good. Defetes the purpose of having a gauge to monitor something if it is just telling you crap for answers. Go to like autozone, advanced auto, or pep boys and get one with a warranty so if it is not correct you can bring it back.

but how come the boost levels are rising when its shifting under WOT. o yea i got an auto if that helps. so this is my first car thats turboed and im not sure just how exactly the guageis supposed to read. sorry for being all noob but we got to learn to

The levels are rising under WOT because you are having boost creep end of story, not the gauges fault.

Exactly, although that doesnt mean that the gauge is correct either way none the less. Get the boost creep fixed up, then check the boost levels the gauge is displaying against some sort of logger, see how accurate it is. Always sucks to have inaccurate gauges, really hard to change anything or tune it and know whats going on inside the engine.

i got the guage pod and 2 guages (air/fuel, and volt meter) off ebay by Glowshift, installation was easy, looks great only problem is my volt meter guage broke about 6 months after i installed it.
