Gixrman quick release bumper kit

Has anyone used the Gixrman quick bumper release kit for a 2G? I purchased the kit Gixrman. But, I have a few questions. I am trying to install the Dzus springs. The instructions are not clear on how to install them. It gives a very very brief description. It says to insert the rivet through the washer and through the the Dzus spring. I tried this and this method didn't work. Does anyone have any experience with product. Any help would be good.

You insert the rivet through the bracket, then spring, then washer. The washer should be the very last piece behind the spring on the rivet. When you compress the rivet, the washer keeps the spring from sliding off the rivet.
