I am having a hard time trying to get my left rear wheel hub off. I need to replace one of the studs and I can not get this thing to budge. I took off the caliper, rotor and the 4 nuts on the back. The axle wiggles but I can not get it to come all the way out. Posting pictures.

Get lots of penetrating oil in there and let it sit. Then use a rubber mallet to beat on it and repeat. It should eventually give. If that doesnt work using some heat should help.

Thread the bolts back on the the hub but leave them about a quarter inch out. From there you can hit them with a hammer and it will drive the hub out of it's bore.

LOL, yah, the axle went flush with the hub, so I could not hit nothign even if i wanted too, unless I got a punch that could fit onto the axle end. THe hub was as tight as can be. haha. I just put it all back together for now. I may just get a new axle and hub, and go to town on this one later on. LOL

I had the same problem with my tsi. the hub would not come off the axle splines. i beat the hell out of that thing and it wouldn't budge.
im going to take it to a shop with an oxygen/acetylene torch and have them pull it LOL
