I've been working on the car for a couple days but haven't really made much noticeable progress, which is fine with me because I'm not really in a hurry. I'm more concerned with doing things right with this car, something which must have never crossed the previous owner's mind. There's not a whole lot wrong with the car, so it's just gonna be minor details that will probably take some time. I've been hopping around with what I'm working on, doing some body work till I get bored, then switching to the engine till I get frustrated. First order of business: getting the door back on right.

I don't have any experience doing any kind of body work, so I'm making this up as I go along. I've heard good things about JB Weld so I'm using that to reattach the hinge.

After:

I also noticed a slight ridge around the throttle body itself, and figured it couldn't really hurt to smooth that out too. Before:

That's about all I've got done so far because I was out of town for most of the weekend, but I've got the next 2 days free so I'll hopefully get some more done then. Meanwhile keep the comments coming!
