When comparing different gears set in my spare transmissions, there are some 4th gears with 2 hash marks on them and some with 3. I always assumed there was a pitch difference and have replaced like marked gears.
However, is there a difference? Is there a code to certain yrs have differenent hash marks.
I started wondering because I need to probably order a new 4th gear and want to make sure I get the correct one.
