GC coilover questions

I am picking up some lightly used ground control coilovers on Agx shocks within the next day or two and I have some questions. I checked the part numbers and for some reason the spring rates are alot lower than most people run 280lb front and 200lb rear.
Is this spring rate common?
Am I going to be at a disadvantage using those lighter spring rates?
What will I have to change to put these springs on koni yellows?

Your gonna have to run Koni Yellows with them to get the ride you want from them, if not they won't work at optimum level.

Do you or anyone have any insight on this particular spring rate? The car they came off is a 700whp galant vr4 from my town and the guy didn't really drive the car and didn't have any complaints about the setup. I'm coming from bone stock/blown suspension and if these springs are going to let my car squat really bad still and not handle well then I might look else where.
