gauge wiring question

My defi gauges came with a red wire with a 4amp fuse for power,orange for on when the ignition is on,and white for illumination. I am tapping them into a fuse and was wondering how to wire them up. can i wire all the colors together into one fuse that has power when the ignition is on? or should i wire them seperately into different fuses? I dont want to cause problems thanks guys!

I don't know why your gauge has seperate power and ignition wires. What kind of gauge is it? I would think that you would only want it to have power when the ignition is on, not all the time. In which case I would wire both of those leads together into one ignition only fuse.

For instance, I have a Autometer volts gauge, it has an ignition wire, so it reads when the key is on, and the lights are wired to come on with the rest of the lights. Turn the car on, the gauge turns on; turn the lights on, all my gauge lights come on.

They are defi imperials. I got them used and thats what the book said the wires are. So I can just wire the single power wire into the fuse that comes on with the ignition and leave the others not wired to anything correct? I just want the gauges to read all the time when i turn the key over to accessory or running.
