Ok so i want to redo my gauges, Im currently running an AEM WBo2, Greddy Boost and Greddy Oil Press on a triple pillar. Im not really a fan of the Greddy gauges because they are needles and i cant really read them accurately from a glance and im not trying to stare at them while im going WOT. I really like the Innovate MTX series and was thinking of getting the Innovate wideband, innovate boost and innovate oil press/temp..but i kind of want the water temp/battery volt gauge because my cluster water temp doesnt work (its either pegged or not moving at all, bad cluster) and too just to finish off the set and have all 4 (screw egt the more i read on it the more i find its pointless) I dont really want to go with a triple pillar...i was thinking of going dual pillar with wideband and boost then gauge cluster mounting the oil press and water temp gauges in a glowshift cluster mount. I have searched too see if the innovate gauges fit comfortably in a cluster mount (without sticking out) but cant find anything.

What do you guys think? Will i look like a stupid idiot having a dual pillar and cluster gauges? should i just forget water temp? any input is appreciated.

The more accurate real gauges the better I only use aem gauges now. I just run wideband and boost, but if your iffy on your oil pressure or water temp then by all means get more. I never had a issue with the stock ones all tho they may not be accurate there more or less ganna tell you if something bad is going to happen or not. I love the 2 gauge pod in the cluster also for 2g's there are ones for the center vent section too. So I would browse around and look what you like, becuase it's going to be up to you how you want it to look as you will be looking at it all day not us.

Just get the basic gauges. Boost, Wideband, Oil Pressure. Also I like AEM. Here is a pic of how mine look.

One more reason for going with the dual over the tirple pillar is that i feel the triple kinda obstructs my view, i feel like it will be slightly better with a dual pod, and i can quickly glance at it to see my boost/o2 readings. the oil press/temp water temp/batt voltage gauges would be in the cluster nice and snug but still easibly viewable.

Reason i dont like AEM is innovates look better in my opinion and are dual function, the boost has a shift light, the oil press is also oil temp and the water is also battery voltage (not that important but better the nothing)

I want to keep my AC Vents, i think gauges mounted there are dumb because you gotta like crane your head down and to the right where nothing else is, so its kind of stupid mounting place imo.

I'd go AEM as well.

IMHO I prefer not to run gauge pillar pods for two reasons, blind spot and atracts break ins.

I run my gauges through my built in dash, but would also use a cluster gauge pod or center console gauge pod.

You won't look like a stupid idiot having a dual pillar and cluster gauges. I would include water temp if your engine temps run a little hotter than normal but still within the acceptable range.

I have a picture of my setup in my photos but here's another one. I used to like the pillar setup but feel it's way overplayed so I went with this. Since my coolant temps have become an issue since I went to a bigger turbo I'm adding a water temp gauge which sits in a cluster gauge.
