Gauge mounting ideas?

Well my car has tan a-pillars..so finding gauge pods for it is hard. I dont have a need for 3 aftermarket gauges so itd be very ugly to purchase one of the tan triple gauge pillars availiable and leave 1 or 2 pods open.

One idea was this:

but I would rather have a tan A pillar mounted boost guage.. any ideas?

Have a look at my setup with a triple pod and the dual cluster pod:

I have a tan interior as you can see, but since there's plenty of black trim, I think it works just fine and doesn't seem out of place. I'm going to be removing my cluster pod since I can't stand the fact that the previous owner mounted the boost gauge there and it makes it hard to go back and forth between the EGT, boost and tach since they're in different lines of sight.

The choice is yours and I'm sure you'll pick what suits you the best, but remember that you can fill a triple pod with some very useful gauges that will help you monitor what's going on.

I really like the in-cluster gauge pods, but it's all a matter of personal preference.

Lot more sleeper-ish too, it's hard not to see an a-pillar pod from outside the car.

i mounted my egt guage where the cig lighter used to be. i cut it out using a Dremel tool and smoothed it with sand paper. It looks sweet right there. i have a dual pillar pod for boost and air to fuel from previous owner.

i had the dual gauge cluster as you posted above and its pretty hard to see the gauges.
i regreted getting an a-pillar. made tuning a pain in the ass.

Agreed w/chicagoboostin re: gauge-cluster dual-mount.

With that big wheel that's the OEM airbag on the 2Gs, it was nearly impossible for me to properly visualize either of the two gauges mounted using that pod. I'm about 6' even, and sit "normal" to the wheel (i.e. not old-man close nor G-style far), and I truly had problems seeing those two.

I've currently got a 350mm diameter MOMO Millennium, and although sighting of those gauges is much better, I now have trouble seeing the friggin turn signal indicators!

it certainly does help. your pillar looks good for sure.
I'll see if I can find a nice dual a pillar, black with some decent gauges included on ebay.

I'd have purchased it by now if it didnt sound like the pillar gets glued ontop of my original...im thinking a direct replacement will look best.
