what is the differonces between methanol pistons vs gasoline pistons?
is there a piston run both gasoline and methanol at the same time with boost?

there is no real difference other than compression. But there is no reason you couldn't run an 8.5:1 piston on gas or methanol.

do you know anything about piston porting? i was told the the porting of the piston is different.
or maybe the he was talking about the head of the engine porting is different for methanol.
i dint want to wast his time cuz he was busy and the phone call transmission was bad

Other than methanol makes way more power than gasoline but you need two times more of it there is no deference engine wise . I did run on pure methanol before ( 8 2200 cc injectors ) . As far as engine prep there is no difference in engine preparation or pistons . BTW methanol likes a little higher cr so I was running 12.5: 1 cr, but I have friend that is running pure meth with 9:1 cr ( almost 1k hp) .

why would this guy tell me a story about porting. when i wants give him money for a 91 OCT. and meth
crate engine.he a dealer for a big DSM company out side of Toronto. I'm in over my head now.

how high of horse power can you get on 91 oct gasoline on a 1g 4g63t?

Don't use 91 oc use 91 & meth injection or 94 . I'm currently running 94 oct & lot of pure meth injection @ 42 psi dd auto talon I'm @ around 800hp now . As for 1g 4g63 stock engine I don't see any problem hitting 400 -500 hp with a good tune & rod bolts changed to arp .

I'm still going to use meth and 91 oct i want to hit the 800whp as well on an auto dsm powered car.
I'm thinking to get over the 800whp mark i will use nitrous and give the turbo a brake now over use it



my supplier is being difficult maybe Jery1234 could talk to him.?!?!
i like the shop and what they have done for ppl. but its hard to get what i want from them
