Gasket Kit - Need Info and Input

I'm needing a gasket kit for my 92 Gst, I'm about to start putting it all back together and i need a kit replace all the old gaskets, don't need a head gasket but other than that everything i would like to have. Anyone know of any good kits.

The Parts Dinosaur gasket kit is reasonably priced, and is of good quality. Take note of the oil pan gasket however... you'll need to add a hole on the gasket towards the front of the engine. Use copper spray on all the gaskets too.

I got my gaskets (not head gaskets) from felpro, I copper sprayed them and till this date I have no leaks, have been to shootout and back and got roughly 2000 miles on them. As for my oil pan, I have used a gasket per say, we always used silver RTV and it works wonderful.

4G63 4G63T 2.0 DOHC Full Gasket Set 1989 - 4/92 Mitsubishi and Hyundai
$76, includes head gasket and everything. Yes, I copper sprayed all the gaskets (except oil pan, see below) and have around 4K on the kit with no leaks. I use a thin layer of blue RTV around the shaft seals - it makes them slide right in. Some people use halomar with the water pipe oring, but I just use blue RTV. On the oil pan, I always use RTV sealant. For your oil pump gear bolts, use Locktite Red - Sleeve Retainer. I recommend sleeve retainer for the tranny to engine bolts as well. Use Locktite Blue on the oil pan bolts. Make sure you chase the threads on the head bolts... if you are a 6bolt you can reuse your head bolts if you are on a budget. Replace the timing belt and components while you are in there! I recommend this kit:

Lastly, while you're in there, go ahead and do a balance shaft elimination. Save yourself some money - just buy the mirage stub shaft from JNZ - it's $8 I believe. Don't bother with the bearings and such on the front of the engine, just leave the balance shaft installed and unhooked if you are on a budget. Pack the oil pump gears with grease so it's primed during start-up. Use assembly lube on all moving parts you install, including the stub shaft. Use anti-seize on the head bolts and the exhaust bolts.

The lower set is like $32, cant remember the upper, but comes with everything you need (all seals/gaskets)

Yup - they are just fine. I've never had problems with gaskets or belts or anything, for that matter, from Parts Dinosaur. It's OE-quality material and in some cases is even made by the OEM supplier, like ITM pistons.

Not too terribly much more - 7bolt head bolts stretch. Swap them to ARP studs when you do your gaskets.

Ok, because psi.com has a head gasket and apr stud for $168, but then i saw parts deal. All the gasket for $78 which would you do

I'd personally stick with the HG in the PD gasket kit and just buy the studs separately.

I ALSO had the PD.com MLS HG on my 97 GST 7 bolt and had NO issues whatsoever. Any gasket he sells seems to be legit and should last you. Bruce is a good guy as well.
