I just traded for a 92 galant vr4 It runs great below 3500rpm than it stalls. I can hear a hissing noise under the hood that sounds like it is coming from the fuel rail. Also the coil was moved and mangled so i was wondering the correct firing order because i cant tell what is front etc.. It has been a few years since i have touched a dsm so help is appreciated.

If you dont have one yet go to a get a repair/maintenance book for it best advice i got when i got my tsi

Thanks i will! Any help before i can get around to finding one? Looked at firing order but i cant tell which way the coil goes because someone messed with it.

theres numbers on the coil and the order is correct if it wasnt it wouldnt run smooth below that rpm

check all orings
this car had bouncy idle due to orings in the TB, most likely needs gaskets for intake
never bumped at that rpm before something could have happened with switching back to those 450s
and get a boost leak tester
