my motor mounts are horrible, so bad that after a few hard WOT shifts and a good race or 2 things come disconnected in my engine bay.

my battery cables come undone, my IAV (idle something) will fluctuate and my alignment will go off..

how much do you think my car would gain ET wise with a good pair of motor mounts?

anyway to get my car to shift firmer? This is the sloppiest stock shifter I've ever powershifted.

Motor mounts will help tremendously, not only e.t. wise but will nearly eliminate wheel hop so you won't have to worry about destroying the stock diff as easily. You don't even need to replace the side mounts to see huge gains just the front and the back. The back mount is a ####ing PITA with the tranny in the car but it is doable. As for firmer shifter replace the underhood shifter cable bushing with brass ones and also replace the rubber grommets that hold the shifter to the car with brass ones as well and you will see a nice improvement in shifter feel.

Skate board bearing work better then the brass bushings.

Any vendor sells the motor mounts/inserts for about the same price. I bought mine from RRE but all the dsm vendors sell them. As for the bushings a bought them from a guy on here selling them about two years ago, but I think machv sells them and probably slow boy.

You can get the skateboard bearings from a skateshop. roller blade bearings work also. as long as the inside hole is 8mm.
