There are so many mixed answers on this topic. So I was just looking to see if we could get some definite set in stone answers.

I am in the process of buying the parts to time my G4CS block with 4G63 head.
I do have the 4G64 intake and exhaust cam gears

Is a 4g64 belt a must? Or can I buy a 4g63 belt?
Can I use a 6 bolt 4G63 tensioner?
With the 64 gears is it just a normal timing job? Or do these gears need remarked?

Just looking for some answers before I go buying parts I can't use :thumb:

We used the 4g63t belt on a 4g64 with dohc swap

Its working fine, the hyd tensioner is just up enough that you cannot put a pin in it, the belt seems a bit tight but you can twist 1/4 turn on long side, should be ok, no noises either.
