FWD vs AWD springs.. Is there a difference?

The guy that owned my car before me cut the front suspension springs on my 1990 Eagle Talon TSI AWD. I was wondering if I could replace them with FWD springs. Is there a big difference in the two?

Every time I hit the slightest bump/dip.. the whole car just bottoms out pretty bad. I need to get some replacements before I daily it. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me if there was a big difference if any at all in the two?

They are different due to the added weight in the rear for awd. The front ones will work but not the rear.

i dont know about 1gs, but i got gs springs/ struts on all four corners of my awd
