I have a 96 Eagle talon ESi FWD (2.0 DOHC/5 spd) and i was wondering if it was posible too swap all the parts from a AWD 2G car into my car? I found a 96 Eclipse GSX that was hit at my local salvage yard (title was junked already. I bought the whole car for 600.00 dollars (complete and runs). i would like too swap in the motor/tranny, transfer case/ front and rear parts. Will i need too do alot of custom fabbing or not?

There is a TON involved in this project. I am not going to tell you not to do it but, it would be easier to fix the AWD chassis.
Good luck.:thumb:

I thought about that, but they junked the title and i don't beleave you can get a new one after ones been junked (title). I guess, i could just swap the VINs if i can't get a title. The GSX is deffently fixable in my opionon.

Nothing will bolt on at all, being as you have an ESi which has the 420A. The chassis in your car is completely different from that of a GSX.

It will be extremely hard and time consuming but if you do all the work yourself and use some junkyard parts you may be able to do it for cheaper. One of the mods on DSMCA.org did this to his eclipse. If you can get a hold of him you can ask all the questions. I think dsmca is dead though.
