Ok I have done my research for the past few hours on fwd or awd. And I come across that everyone says its up to what you will be doing and what you want.
Currently I own a 1g FWD and the engine is in pieces all over my garage. It needs a total engine rebuild. Hot tank, bore, rebuild kit. I plan to add a 16g new cams etc etc.
What I want to do is have a car to mess around with on the weekends. Basically I have a honda to drive during the week and then I would be driving this car during the weekend.
What I am aiming for is a car not for the track but for street racing. Just something I can take out at night and beat some people and occasionaly beat someone from a red light. So does this sound like I should sell the FWD and find a AWD? Or stick with the fwd? Lets say we have two equally modded DSM's fwd and awd. How much is the AWD going to beat the FWD by?
Would my FWD with a 16g etc and street tires slip like crazy?
