Ive searched and im a little confused and im sure somebody can clear this up for me no problem..

People are saying the fusable links look like an actual fuse, except more bigger and they have a clear top to them.

I look up fusible links and read about them in my Haynes repair manual and they mention them as an actual WIRE that serves are first line of protection.

Can anybody tell me where they are on my 95 talon TSI?

Yes they have a specially designed wire that melts when the current is exceeded and are used with higher currents than normal fuses. They are the first protection device from the battery with normal fuses coming after them. They are in the engine bay fusebox and in the later years at least, look like clear topped plastic boxes of different colors that plug in except for the 100 and 60 amp which are sometimes a metal strip. If one of these blows you have a major problem.
