Hey,

I have my 95 GSX and we put new gauges inside on a pillar pod. We wired the power to the power wire off the radio harness and now my gauges do not light up as well as my windshield wipers don't work anymore. It seems like a loose wire or something but All the plugs that go into the fuse box are plugged tight. I end up kicking the fuse box lightly and the gauges will sometimes work allowing my wipers to work. This also effects my sunroof power but it is not linked to the gauges/wiper. I really need to figure this out before the weekend is over. It's supposed to be sunny the next two days but it's my DD and I want to fix it for sure. it's getting to the point when i can't even use my wipers at all anymore, no matter how much I wiggle the fuse box.

Thanks!

all that stuff you are taling about should be wired into the same fuse box, so possibly somewhere i nthe box 2 wires are touching together and shorting out. also if could possibly bein over powered casuing your wipers and sunroof to short out. i have my power wired ran into my cig lighter n they work fine, so maybe try a new power source n try a in line fuse instead of puttin it into the fuse box

ah well my problem is When i bought my car it was in pieces and It doesn't have a cigarette lighter. It's been on my hitlist to put in but for now i'm taking care of more important stuff. I appreciate the feedback. I think i'm going to pull out the plug where the short could be and see if there's any wires stripped or anything. I'll give you an update tomorrow possibly.
