alright here's the story....
Driving around monday night car is running great. The next morning i drive to a friends house, car is still running great. leave the car there for 6 hours get in it to go home and driving for awhile everything seemed to be running good till i went to pass another car and my car seemed alot slower, so i decided to try a second gear pull just see if it was running bad or if i was just crazy, and my car wass running full boost(17psi) egt was fine maybe a little higher than normal, sounded kind of weird to, maybe like a slight whine to it. and it's alot slower.

I checked the plugs they looked good.
I have no boost leaks(well my bov leaks alittle)
i have spare ecu that i put in just to see if that helped.. it didn't. :|
I messed with my afc, didn't help. :|
I tryed running low boost 12 and 14 psi, didn't help. :|

I'm running out of ideas to try and thought maybe someone here could give me some thoughts as to what might be wrong, or what else to try. any help would be great.

Check your turbo for shaft play and check to see if its burning oil. My t-25 started to do that before it died. It felt really slow even though it still had the same 15psi boost. I also heard the whine, and eventually the noises got worse and worse. Good thing to check while you still have time to get a new one.

alright thanks, i'll check that out and let you know what i come up with. thanks....anymore?

Sounds like turbo. Either that or timing is being pulled or you've got a boost leak. All of which I'm sure you'd be able to diagnose from what you said.

Just remember, when something breaks on the DSM it doesn't mean the car's unreliable. It just means she wants an upgrade :thumb:

well i checked the turbo and everything seems to be in good shape. i took it for another spin just to listen to it again, and after about 4500 to 7000rpm it just slow and sounds like a humming noise or something close to that..i was wrong about the whine OMG well at least its not as much as i thought. this is really starting to make me mad  so im going to put my thinking cap back on and try and figure something else out

Pull your timing belt off and reset your timing . thats what happend to mines when my balence shaft belt locked up i jumped time and i lost 90 percent or my power try that it might be the problem does the noise u say sound like coming from the top end like almost under the valve cover or behind the intake manifold
