Yes I'd say that sounds like a boost leak, especially if couplers are popping off. Make sure all the clamps are tight and that the hoses/pipes/couplers aren't damaged. Then do a boost leak test.

sounds like a misfire, do a tune up its the first easy step, spark plugs, wires, fuel filter pcv valve, clean your throttlebody and maf sensor. if there the stock wires they commonly cause a misfire in these cars underboost defenitly change them.

im running denso platinum plugs right now, i did research on the site and in my current stage i need NGK br6's ill try them out and see how it goes.. when i hit full boost full throttle i also hear popping then it stumbles and i lose power (happens with denso platinum plugs) & im too lazy to update my profile on here so i just left it as my old car(my 98 n/t)

is it like a hitting a brick wall kind of buck of a easier like power loss kind? if its very brutal id say fuel cut but on waste gate pressure id find it hard to believe you are hitting fuel cut.

Definitely sounds like you're hitting fuel cut. Boost leak test (pressure test) the intake system, leaking out of a couple or a torn hose (if on stock piping) is common on older turbo'd cars, leaking from a gasket on the intake manifold somewhere is less common, but possible. Also check your vacuum lines for cracks or tears, make sure your BPV/BOV is functioning properly and that the diaphragm isn't torn, etc.

definitely sounds like fuel cut.

Check the line to the actuator could have a small leak allowing more boost pressure to build before opening. wich would give you a higher boost level hence the fuel cut. do you know how much pressure your building up?

sounds like a boost look or a random vaccume line has been blown off. check for cracked line.s

hello i have the same problem with my gst 95 once i hit 8-10psi it feels like the car comes out of gear or like hitting a wall could it be my wires or plugs what would be the first things i should do and is it bad on the car?
