Alright I am completely lost  . I am at work on the computer so I will have to post logs when I get home, but ne wayz. I am runnin the dsmlink w/ 650's. It idles and runs great or so I thought (i guess). I am runnin supa rich. my a/f are 18:1 at idle and w/ the cruise at 70 its 15:1. Dead time on the injectors is set at 315 and global is at -36. my mid long term fuel trim is -7.6 and the lo long term fuel trim is still at -12.5 which is as rich as it will read. the fuel trims are suppose to be at zero. both trims were at -12.5
I changed the dead time and leaned it out to get the -7.6, i cant get the other to change at all. ne help or ideas wouldbe great! thanx :thumb:

uhh... haha i'm going to go ahead and guess that you're not running 18:1 or 15:1 or you wouldn't have an engine.... that is EXTREMELY lean... what are you using for your air/fuel ratio? a typical AFR is about 12:1.. Unless i'm missing something...

well my dsmlink must be screwed cuz when it logs the a/f is 18.00 and it drops to around 15.3 or so and still blows black smoke like a mutha. like i said i am lost lost

I bought it from a local. It was orginaly set up for 720's. the guy help me set it up and get it runnin. I got it home and now am trying to tune it. I jus cant get the numbers where the are suppose to be. I thought we compensated for the injectors?

there are settings using DSMLink that allow you to enter what injectors you have, then adjust from there. so you tell it you have the 650 injectors, and then you adjust from there. I've heard that the dsmlink guess for air/fuel is not that accurate, and you should tune based on a wideband if at all possible

You can change the injector compensation on the DSMLink... so, maybe he just hasn't re compensated for the new injectors.

I realize that, but I know when you buy the chip they burn the size injectors into the chip that you plan to run. That way if your battery dies and you don't have access to a laptop, you are still able to get home. I just wanted to make sure he wasn't trying to compensate for the injectors on top of what the chip was defaulted for. :thumb:
