so a while back my 92 awd talon began to run rich all the time! during normal driving, idle, wot, you name it. in an attempt to find the problem i pulled my piggy back out (PMS system) with no luck. im am seeing my xmas tree a/f gauge (autometer) refuse to sweep. after start up, it just slowly makes its way over to the rich zone and stays there. my ecm has been reflashed by jestrtuning prior to all this for all the mods i have and ive had that looked at. im getting a cel for my o2 sensor so i went a bought a new one from the dealer but it still does it. i have no boost leaks and my fpr works as well as my 2g maf (ive swapped both out). an ideas?????

160k. i did some logging to day. my real time o2 trim was going from 31-32 while cruising until it like "dies" and i have to let out the gas for a second. my mid was 83, low at 81, and hi at 95ish. all were slowly going down except for the low and real time. my o2 voltage at idle is .94ish. timing at idle is 10 degrees and my water/motor temp was at 201. air temp was 107. my o2 will sweep a little under moderate acceleration but then goes back to being rich.

It sounds like your fuel trims are maxed out, that's probably the cause of the CEL. What injectors and pump are you running? Do you know what psi your fuel pressure is?

You might try replacing the vac hose that runs from the intake mani to the fpr with a new hose. If there's a leak in the hose or solenoid it will make the A/F ratio rich at idle and leaner when hitting boost.
Bypass the fpr solenoid, just run the hose straight from the IM to the fpr. It's cheap and easy. The hoses and solenoids tend to go bad on old cars.
