fuel tank sheild?

I drive a 99 GSX in the northern united states, so we DO have rust. I noticed earlier while replacing a few things that my fuel tank sheild has a rust hole in it, Does anyone sell these? Ive searched on here, google, yahoo, bing, and looked through what JNZ has to offer under the OEM mitsubishi category and i got nothing.
Has anyone else had this issue? i cant be the only one this has ever happend to.

Any leads would be appreciated!

funny thing is, i called my local mitsubishi dealership and they told me i couldnt get one.
Just purchased

Not a problem. I would think about trying a different local dealer next time. All of the Mitz dealers around me are more then willing to go that extra mile to get parts for me. I haven't found a part yet that the ones around me couldn't get, and I got a 1992 GSX.

You could always remove the shield and take it to a local welder and have him fab up a cover for the hole or something.
