I'm looking to run a -8an fuel feed line because I'm switching to e85 and want it all done right.
I have right now a -6an line and 255 intake setup. How would I connect the -8an to the top of the fuel pump. Do I need a bulk head fitting or can I just use an adapter from -6 to -8?

I also plan on running a second inline pump like a fuelab prodigy pump. Does it matter what location this is put at? Does it have to be closer to the tank or no? I wanted to put them both on the firewall. (by both I mean the inline fuel pump and new fuel filter)

Just get the -8 bulkhead fitting to replace the -6 that you currently have. Then run your -8 line from the new bulkhead to your Fuelab pump.

Got a link of where I can buy the bulkhead fitting? So that will attach to the stock outlet on the top of the fuel pump?

Also to avoid any confusion. The link I posted is to use for general reference in mounting.

The above link was obviously done on a 1g unit. The 2g will look a little different.

I'm not sure if there is anything out there illustrating an exact 2g install.

I'm sure there is somewhere...........

The 2g awd fuel setup is INSANELY difficult to modify. Because we have a very shallow tank, less than 10" deep, you are limited with what you can put into the tank. Also, there is a horrid mess of lines on top of the sending unit that will do nothing but get in the way, and no, you cannot get rid of any of them either.

how do you have your -6an line hooked up to your fuel pump housing now? Is it connected to the stock feed line or did you already use a bulk head fitting? If your still using the stock feed line, what you can do is cut the factory feed line off at the housing and leave about 1/4" left. Go get a mild steel -8an weld on fitting and slip it over the 1/4" you have left and take it some where to be completely welded around. This way your 255 will still use the factory lines inside the tank. Then go buy a -8an 90* low profile fitting and there you go. This is how I have mine.

the problem with this idea is, you're dealing with an incompressible fluid, and welding a -08 bung to the housing isn't going to get you any more flow without making the rest of the ID's the same.
