Fuel system upgrade question

I have a walbro 225 pump and some 550cc injectors sitting around the house. Can I install these without doing anything else such as a wide band o2 or Safc, or will this cause problems?

You can install them but your car is just going to flow the stock fuel measurements I believe.

Fuel pressure regulator and a fuel tuning device. Like you said a SAFC. Some people don't like them though.

You need to get a SAFC, and preferably an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. Reason being, the stock ECU does not know you have just put in injectors that are 18% bigger, and will behave as usual. Thus, you will proceed to inject 18% more fuel than you are supposed to. The 255 will overrun the stock FPR, and thus your base fuel pressure will go out of whack. The ECU assumes you have 43 psi base fuel pressure, and will not compensate for these differences.

While you're doing all the fuel system, I'd recommend getting a rewire kit for the pump.
