Is there a way to purge the fuel system in a 95 talon 420A ? I think i may be having fuel problems ...

Thanks !

You mean release fuel pressure? Best way to go about it is to disconnect your fuel pump and just keep "starting" the car.

On the 4g63 motor, the fuel pump is accessible from the rear seat and you can just unplug it there (located under a metal plate that is screwed down). I don't think it's changed with the N/T model but I cannot verify it.

If you're trying to drain the tank, disconnect the fuel inlet line at the rail and jump the pump relay. Make sure you got something to drain the fuel into and don't let the pump run dry or it will burn out. Disconnet the relay jumper when fuel starts to sputter out.

I'm not totally sure offhand if this is one of those Chrysler returnless fuel systems, but if you are concerned that you have air trapped in your fuel rail, it should work itself out when you crank the engine.

If it doesn't, it's most likely a bad fuel pump.

Try checking the fuel filter if the pump works. You should be able to hear it running.

This does have a return style system with a regulator on the rail. So make sure the vacuum line to the regulator is intact. Fuel pressure should be 38 psi with the vacuum hose on and 47-50 disconnected. These values are with the engine at idle.
