I am running a NOS fuel solenoid and with 39 psi base fuel pressure and 34 psi that would put the pressure at the solenoid in the 79psi range. I believe after destroying a Zex and now this NOS one I am really thinking it is the fuel pressure that is behind my problems. At first the NOS replacement did its' job, fixing this bogging and stumble at ten psi after the install of a zex solenoid, but the strange 10psi of boost stumbling came back after 100 miles. It goes really rich and bogs out at ten psi
Like a turbo feed line can I install a nitrous jet into the inlet of the fuel solenoid to help control pressures? I am not sure what they are rated to handle, but I believe carb cars only see like 8psi. So I would like to bring the pressure to the fuel solenoid to around 15psi, Because I also need to make sure there is enough fuel for the 100 shot when it fires.
How I would calculate the size restriction is a mystery to me but I believe anything under 30 would be fine. Thoughts?
