ok, here it goes....my old fuel sending unit was all rusted. when i took it off, it broke because of the rust. well, i bought a new one that was in great shape. i put the walbro 255 fuel pump in. well, when i was tighting the power wire, i was stupid and broke off the stub. i payed $175 and broke the stub!!! so i tried to soder it, and it wasnt sticking. so i had one idea left.

what i did was drilled a small hole big enough for the power wire only. i slid the power wire through and and JB welded the hole and the wire.i cut the power source wire and im going to attach the power wire from the pump to eachother. it should work, right? im just a tad bit nervous about it!

heres the pics, so u guys can understand what the hell im talking about...

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who is dumb enough to snap those stupid, insanely weak wire studs. I used the exact same method to fix mine and its been working fine for about a year.:thumb:
