fuel question

Hey I am putting my car back to stock 97 eclipse gst it will still have a full exhuast (3 inch), my questions is there is a 255 lph walbro fuel pump in the car now, can I run this on stock injectors no afc t25 all the stock stuff and not have any problems or will there be a fuel over load? I was woundering because isnt it the ecu that tells the fuel pump how much to pump out? or is it just set by the pump itself?

you shouldn't have a problem running a 255 on stock injectors! Alot of people say you need an AFPR to get it to run right...It really varies from car to car...I had my 255 on my stock regulator...It ran fine...just my low fuel trim was wacky..But as soon as i put an AFPR it was fine...only real way to tell is with a Fuel Pressure gauge...You'll know then if your overworking your stock fuel system...dan
