just wondering....if the pump is just upgraded...does it still need a re-wire? thats all...thanks

This is shown in the voltage drop from the battery to the pump. Seriously, let the car idle and go measure it with a volt meter, granted you might need someone to play with the throttle to get an accurate measurement but the voltage drop about 2 volts. The higher the voltage the faster the motor in the pump spins and the more efficent it is... It's that simple.
