fuel pump question

alright, heres the deal. my car took a shit on me awhile back, my buddy and i narrowed it down to the fuel pump so i bought a walbro 255 and aeromotive fpr, the pump isnt getting any power now and im thinking about wiring it directly to the battery but ive never done it before so i was wondering if any of you have. maybe you can give me a quick rundown on what i need to do or even a step by step if you've got the know-how. thanks

The vfaq is defently your friend, check it out www.vfaq.com, has all your common installs. Rewiring the fuel pump is a standard upgrade that should be done when your adding a larger turbo or just upping the boost.
