Fuel Pump Problem Please Help

When I turn the key but before I start the car shouldnt I hear the fuel pump kick on for a second or 2 then shut off>? I am able to turn the fuel pump on manually through dsmlink but I dont hear it come on before I start the car.

Yes, it normally does that. Is your fuel pump rewired? Where did you tap the signal from? When I rewired mine, I used that blue connector in the engine bay, and now it doesn't do the 2 second power up with the ignition on anymore. There doesn't seem to be any negative effect though.
