My gas gauge only goes from Full to 1/4. 1/4 is the lowest it will go then the low fuel light comes on.
What could have happend and how do I go about fixing this?

I did the 255 awhile ago and mine stops just under 1/4 also. You get used to it after while. If you dont feel like taking it out again you could just keep it above 1/4, acting as that is empty. Doing that will also let you fuel pump work easier because theres always more fuel there, I have heard.

The internals of the gauge sender are very intricate and fragile. What probably happened is you bent the sender arm, which in turn bent a piece of metal which needs to make contact with a loom of wire inside that little sender box. I guess you'll either have to pull it out again and see if you can fix it, or get used to it.

eh.......I don't know what I want to do yet? I know it might end up bugging me in the long run
