fuel pump help

okay got my new pump instaled it still ain't kicking on, checked the relay the mfi and fuel pump. they are both reading 25 oms, i tested the pump it self and it will kick on when i hook it up to the battery, so i know it works, so should i replace the relays? i am out of ideas, and does anyone know were i can find part numbers? the auto parts store need the numbers for the relays, if they need to be replaced. any help is appreciated. i have a 95 gs mods in my profile just basic stuff.

Did you replace the fuel filter at the bottom of the fuel pump when you change it? Not doing so can result in premature fuel pump failure.

Do you have power in the wires at the pump. If you tested the pump itself and it works, maybe thereis a short somewhere in the back.

yeah theres power in the wires. i retest everything and double check though. is there a fuse for the fuel pump, i haven't found one, just the relays.

Don't fprget to test the relay on the drivers side of the firewall. If your m/t it will be the one closest to the drivers side fender and if you are auto it will be the middle relay.

okay i retested the pumps they both work, i tested the relays, and i only got 25 oms on them both (fuel pump and MFI) the repair manuel book i have says they need to be 35-75 oms, so i am thinking thats the problem, i'm gonna replace them both and see what happens. i'll keep everyone posted.
