Fuel pump doesn’t stop priming, other than that not much wrong except a hard time starting. Ideas? My first car, I don’t know where to start

Your car is not necessarily broken, and you may not need to change it. This is common behavior on a Spyder GS (4G64) where someone bypassed the secondary fuel pump relay, located near the left side of the radio. Those relays all eventually die and prevent the fuel pump from getting properly grounded. The easiest solution is to bypass the relay by connecting the wires to a body ground. When this is done on a GS (4G64), the fuel pump will run anytime the ignition is in the "On" position.

You can decide if you want to change the fuel pump to run back to only when the engine is spinning.
