Fuel Pressure ignorance :-/

I'm an idiot at this stuff ive read Vfaq ive read alot about these fuel pressure modifier crap since yesterday and im not getting the gist. Ok yesterday this was given to me for free!! dont ask my g/f's sister's boyfriend just gave it to me out of no where a B&m Fuel Pressure modifier(still in the package) and a guage and t fitings and everything i need to hook it up. But do i really want to put this thing on? I dont knowanything about air/fuel. Im your idiot DSM *Rice boy. I've got an A/F guage installed, but ive read that this modifier i was given wont drop the ffuel pressure. I get horrible gas milage why would i want to raise my fuel pressure?! Ugghh I feel like such a D*mb a*s. I do have intake and exhuast, but a bad O2 senor is whats giving me horrible gas milage i do believe. So do i really need to pu tthis thing on or should i just sell the thing, thanks for putting up with my newbieness guys, i know im an idiot yada yada. Any feedback would be appreciated--Tony

Doesn't sound like it would help you. Don't mess with fuel pressure unless you have a need to and you know what you're doing anyway.

agreed, raising fuel pressure can extend your injectors. But doesnt yeild significant gains, raising your fp 10psi wont change much at all not even a bump in the road. I use mine for added insurence, but dont recomend it.
