Okay so i just put my talon all back together from pretty much scratch ( transmission swap, IM cleaning ). Went to start it tonight, hoping for the best I was soon disappointed:ohdamn: . Cranked it over and over and over stopped, Cranked it once again and it started no problem. Listening to it made me feel nice. But when I got out of my car and looked around I quickly notices that I was leaking fuel from the engine bay.(NOT MY PREMIUM:barf:). Turned the car off quickly and also noticed my IM pooled with fuel. My guess is my injectors aren't sealed properly? How do i seal them up and would I need to open my IM again to get the excess gasoline out before starting? :talon:

use a rag to soak up the excess fuel the rest should evaporate. And NO you dont need to remove the IM. You probably cute the orings when installing the fuel rail. Oriellys sales the universal injector kit I believe its Borg Warner part # 24531 youll need 4. It comes with several O rings youll have to match up the ones you need. Make sure you have the three plastic spacers installed between the rail and the head and try using a little vaseline on the orings when putting them in. Try that it should solve your problem :)

Yes, your injector seals are probably the issue but I'm not sure I'd recommend the Vasoline on the seals as it can cause certain types of rubber to swell/distort. I'd recommend a small amount of motor oil instead.

X2 on the motor oil.
